The Journal of Philosophical Ideas was founded in 1991 and has been one of the leading philosophical journals in Korea since then. The journal is committed to publishing high-standard articles, discussions and book reviews in all areas of philosophy. It also publishes special issues that are dedicated to specific topics of current importance or selected conference articles.

The Journal of Philosophical Ideas is published quarterly in February, May, August, and November by the SNU Institute of Philosophy.
